This is a wooden box with inlaid parkay piecing creating a star type pattern on five of the 6 surfaces. It has hole on the top with a white eyelet of unknown material. The board standing vertically on the top should allow you to divide the thread into over a dozen colors or types of thread. It measures about 10 inches tall and 6 inches by 6 inches. That is site size. I don't have it in front of me at the moment. It may be 6.5 inches square. Email if you have questions.
